Tomorrow is Earth Day 2026. The theme this year is Our Power, our Planet, and that phrase has been sitting with me because I think it means something far deeper than what most people will hear in it tomorrow. The world is talking about renewable energy, collective action, community mobilization. The idea that real progress on this planet doesn't flow from any single government or policy.
It flows from people, ordinary people making consistent decisions, showing up in their own spheres of influence. And I wanna say this plainly, that is a kingdom principle. It always has been. There's data behind what I'm describing. Research shows that 85% of black faith-based leaders identify the need for emotional intelligence training because the weight of leading while internally fragmented is real.
Searches for faith-based business and ministry resources are up 20%. People are not just looking for information about how to succeed. They're looking for wisdom. They're looking for a foundation that doesn't shift when the culture shifts. Earth Day will remind us that the planet has power. What I want to invite you to consider today is that you carry power too, not because you've built it or earned it, but because of who put it in you.
Here's the tension. Most of us are living inside right now. We are building businesses, platforms, families, communities, but we're building under pressure, under noise, under the constant demand to produce more, prove more, perform more. And somewhere in all of that activity, we start making decisions based on urgency instead of wisdom, we start measuring wealth by what we accumulate instead of by what we've actually aligned with.
That gap between what we're producing and what we're becoming is exactly where today's song speaks. I created the wealth flows where wisdom goes song around one of the most consequential moments in scripture. A young king at the beginning of his reign, given the rarest invitation. Ask God for anything you want.
Solomon didn't ask for money. He didn't ask for power. He asked for wisdom, and heaven moved.

Solomon prayed and heaven heard. He didn't ask for gold or sword. He asked for Wisdom in his youth and every time he spoke this truth,
the people came from far and wide to hear the council God supplied.
He saw the need, he judged with grace and built a throne no one could replace. He charged for counsel, made it clear and kings would pay just to draw near
with ships and spices, cloth, and gold. They paid for Wisdom deep and bold.
He made more offers every day. Solutions paved the Kingdom way. He taught the kings, he solved their pain And every offer built his name.
Wealth flows, where Wisdom goes. Rivers rise, when heaven shows. Entrepreneurs, now you know. Make more offers, let Wisdom grow Wealth Flows were Wisdom goes.

Welcome back. I've been watching what happens to people who lead without a wisdom foundation. I've seen it in my own life too. You get to a certain level of visibility, a certain level of output. And if what's underneath is ambition without alignment, eventually the ground starts to shift.
This song doesn't let that happen. It anchors you before you move. Solomon prayed in heaven heard. He didn't ask for gold or sword. Every time I sit with that line, I feel the weight of what Solomon chose in that moment. He was young. He had just inherited a kingdom from his father. David. The world was wide open in front of him, and when God said, ask Solomon's first instinct wasn't for resources, it was for discernment.
That is the rarest thing I know most of us, when the door opens, ask for more capacity, more reach, more revenue. Solomon asked for the wisdom to steward what was already in front of him. And because of that choice, everything else came. I think about the leaders I've walked alongside who hit a ceiling and couldn't figure out why they were talented.
They were working, they were producing, but decisions kept going sideways. When partnerships kept fracturing the wealth they were building felt unstable, like water in cupped hands. The missing piece was almost always the same. They were leading from information from what they knew, what they'd studied, they hadn't yet learned to lead from wisdom from the inside out.
Rivers rise. When heaven shows on Earth Day. People are talking about rivers, water systems. Ecosystems, the health of the land. But I want you to hear this lyric as a word over your inner life. When you align with heaven's wisdom, when you stop running on urgency and start operating from discernment, things rise.
Your influence rises. Resources find you instead of you chasing them. The river isn't downstream from your strategy. It's downstream from your wisdom. Make more offers, let wisdom grow. That line is a business directive. Your wisdom is not meant to sit inside you and feel good. It's meant to move Earth Day's.
Message is about power in the hands of ordinary people. The kingdom version of that message has been true from the beginning. Treasure hidden in your soul. God already put the resource inside you. The question is whether you are willing to surface it, structure it, and release it.
The planet doesn't need your performance, it needs your wisdom, and so does the room you're walking into tomorrow. Here is what this song is telling you. At its core, wisdom is the root, and wealth is the fruit. That's not a metaphor, it's a governing law. The book of Proverbs, chapter four, verse seven says it plainly.
Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom. And with all you're getting, get understanding. Solomon's story is the living proof he prioritized wisdom over everything the world would've told him to grab first. And what came after was abundance so complete that people traveled from other nations just to sit at his table.
The decision you're wrestling with right now, the one that feels urgent, is probably asking you a wisdom question, not just a strategy question. The offers you're afraid to make aren't being held back by a market problem. They're being held back by an identity question. And when you let God's genius guide your hand, when you stop building on urgency and start building on revelation, things built that way last.
So here is what I want you to do this week. One thing, specific, doable. Bring one decision to the wisdom table before you finalize it. Just to pause and ask, what does discernment say here? And then make the offer, say this with me, Lord. Let your wisdom lead me here. I choose discernment over urgency and I will move.
I leave you today with James chapter one, verse five. If any of you lacks wisdom. You should ask God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to you. That's the promise you ask. Heaven moves wealth flows from the wisdom you sought.
