Blood Flow + Communion

[BLOOD FLOW LYRICS] I’ve known for years… that I’ve had high blood pressure. But hear me clearly— I’m not accepting that as my final state. I’m believing… for my blood pressure to be restored to normal. Because I remember… what normal feels like. When my body wasn’t under pressure… when my system flowed the way it was designed to flow. So now I’m paying attention… to what I eat… and what I drink. More greens… more life in my meals… Water… keeping my system moving… Choosing what supports my flow… not what fights against it. Because what I take in… either works with my body… or works against it. And I had to sit with that… Because high blood pressure means my blood is still moving… but not the way it was designed to. The pressure is too high… The system is under strain… And over time… that kind of pressure can damage what was meant to sustain me. Because I understand something now: It’s not enough to be alive… I need the right flow of life in me. Because when the pressure is off… everything feels it. My breathing… My lifeline… My oxygen… The pathways that should be open… The delivery that should be consistent… And I realized… This isn’t just about blood… This is about flow. Because when flow is off… Fuel doesn’t move right… Life movement slows… Organs don’t get what they need… And systems designed to work together… start working against each other. And here’s what hit me… You can have blood… and still not have life moving the way it’s supposed to. Because sometimes it’s not the blood… It’s the pressure. It’s the pathways. It’s the movement. Too much pressure… damages. Blocked pathways… restrict. Restricted flow… affects everything connected to it. And I started asking myself… If I’m making adjustments to get my natural blood flowing right… What else in my life needs the right flow? And that’s when it hit me… Because this is Passover season. And there was a time… when life didn’t only depend on blood flowing through the body… but on blood being applied. And I’m learning… it’s not just about what flows through me… it’s about what’s been applied to me… and what I choose to remember. Because every time I eat… every time I drink… I have an opportunity to remember Him. Not casually… but intentionally. To remember the sacrifice… the blood… the body… given so I could live whole. Not just spiritually… but in my body… my mind… my life. So now even in the natural… when I eat… when I drink… I don’t just consume… I remember. I remember what was done for me… what was applied to me… what still flows for me… And in that remembering… something shifts. My thinking realigns… My heart settles… My life comes back into order… Because this isn’t just about food… and this isn’t just about blood… This is about living… in the reality of what His sacrifice made available to me. In the Old Testament… Moses told the children of Israel… Take the blood… and apply it to the Doorposts & Lintels. Not for circulation… but for protection. And in that moment… it wasn’t about how much blood you had… It was about whether the blood was applied. And I started thinking… About that same blood... the same promise… fulfilled. Because in Egypt… the blood on the doorposts… was a sign. A shadow...a picture. Pointing to the Lamb… who was to come. And now… that Lamb… has been revealed. Jesus. The blood of Jesus… Still speaking… Still covering… Still reaching… Still restoring… And what His blood did then… is still working now. The blood… still works. In my spirit… my mind… my heart… even in this body. Because I’m not just trying to fix my pressure… I’m learning to live… under the right covering. And I’m realizing… Every time I come to the table… Every time I receive the bread… Every time I take the cup… I don’t just remember… I realign. Because this cup… is Covenant. And this bread… is His body. And when I receive it… pressure releases. alignment returns. what felt broken… gets put back together again. And that’s what I’m asking… God… put me back together again. Restore me… spirit, soul and body… Back to the flow I once knew… Show me… the foods… the plants… the herbs… You placed here for me… to restore my blood… to renew my arteries… and bring my body back to normal. My heart… healed. My mind… restored. My soul… aligned. God give me the will… to choose what’s right. The discipline… to eat what heals. The desire… to live in alignment. My body… responding. My mind… renewing. My life… flowing. I can breathe again. Because this isn’t just a meal… This is where my story gets restored. Where what was shattered… gets mended. I walk away restored. Realigned...Whole. Because when the blood flows right… Life flows right. And I wrote a song…about this very thing.
